ok so with a clipped turbo I will have faster spool.

actually the opposite. no clip will give you faster spool than 5 but sometimes it is necessary to to prevent out flowing the exhaust housing. Somtimes the wastegate cant vent enough on the top end with the cts small housing. He is saying a 0 or 5 will give you faster spool than a 10 clip

ok so a clip will help flow on the top end, maybe preventing boost creap?
