drug testing....

hey ,
, I get tested alot for drugs an alcohol for work all the time. so...
, an since I dont get high, my question is...
if I hang around someone that is burning one, , how much will it take for it to get into my system, to fail a drug test ? even if I dont hit it ?

Earlier, I stopped down at my boat dock, an a couple guys were getting ready to fire one up, well, I was able to slee it twice ,, i guess their exhale,..
an I always get paranoid thinking that if I can smell it in the air that it will be ion my system, an could cause me to fail a drug test, an sure enough, I gotta take one the beginning of June ?

I know I should have left as soon as they fired it up, but I figured if i stay agood 10 ft from them an cover my mouth an nose with my shirt, I'd be ok... ,,
but I still get paranoid that it will get into my sysyem....

The way you are typing looks like you are high...J/k Anyways, if you are around it like you said, it won't be in your system. Unless you are breathing in when they exhale mouth to mouth which I doubt you are, you're fine. I'd stay away from it either way though. But, that's just me.

plus, I could loose my job..

Well since it seems like u werent in an enclosed area and you only had a few wiffs, i say the next 3 pees or so u should be 100% clean. Marijuana will leave trace amounts of thc in a person recieving second hale smoke. Usually on drug test they can tell if you smoked it or been around it, in any case u have nothing to fear

although, I think with work, even if they see small traces, an can tell, if it was from second hand, , that still might red flag as a positive, with them...

realistically it can be from 24hrs-72hours, before it out of your system. In your case since you tried to be carefull i say no more than 24 hours, and maybe less depending on how many beers you've had between now and then. I think you will be good by the time you start your day tomorrow

From what I remember of my stoner stoner days.(God that really sounds bad.) Unless you smoked every day it would be out of your system within a few days tops. THC is stored in fat cells in the body, this happens over prolonged exposure of course. (this is why it is able to work in brownies. The THC gets transfered to the lipids in the butter and then the body absorbs the THC tainted lipids.) So if you are fairly active and not mecha-obease you should have nothing to worry about. I had to do a drug test to get my current job, I hung out with my buddy for like two hours while he was smoking. Two days later I took the test and passed. Unless you guys were in a closet while he was smoking there should be almost no THC in your system.
