Driftmotion Intercooler Kit Installion Question

I don't mean to hijack your thread HMNGSupra, but turbo or indigo, what kind of hosing did you use for the oil cooler when you relocated it? And what size was it? 3/8?

Hey, I took almost all the pipes off except the one that connects to the turbo. I need help with that one because that one is held on tightly and it is also at a bad ass spot. The screw is located right under the turbo. So the only want to get on socket on it is by going under the car and sticking it on which is easier said then done. Once I finally got it on, I started turning and notice that it wasn't doing anything. I touched the head of the screw and the head was almost a circle. The groves were almost gone and there wasnt enough of the thread thing for the socket to grip on. Is there another way I can remove that pieces?

well it's only a rubber hose and a POS clamp so get a screw driver and start using some force to get that sucker off

Yea I bought my hose from o'reily, 3/8 oil/transmission hose. Get 6 ft if you want a lil extra, 5 will be barely enough.

I took some pictures by request of how i mounted my intercooler.

Remember i do not have a 7M intercooler kit from DM anymore this is the 1JZ intercooler but mounts up basically the same

Top of Intercooler Mounted to Hood latch/horn bracket Mine has been cut and modified to fit big intercooler

Bottom of the intercooler i simply used to bolts that where already in place under the car worked really well and my intercooler has zero movement

And whala it's mounted to me about 15min to do

Looks alittle cooked in this photo because this was before i mounted the bottom.
