so i just bought the kit from them and got only thing is no instructions but i said he should be simple enough, this isn't my first a/m intercooler kit install:nono:... i've tried every way possible to route the piping to the intercooler up front... seems like the piping is too short for the job to reach the intercooler...

again either i'm routing it wrong or it's too short.... what i want to know is if any has bought the same kit and has had a similar issue? also if you have any pictures of the pipe routing?

any help will be greatly appreciated,,,

thanks for the help but i see your pipe that goes from the turbos to the intercooler passes underneather your headlight, my piping pass right between the radiator and the motor... what i need to see is the undrside of how it's routed to the intercooler itself

that's the kit i have and no clutch fan... i have E-fans... i mean so far no clearance issues anywhere it's just that the pipes provided don't reach the intercooler.

haha i did that last night before i posted the thread on here. but they are slightly different.... if you look at the pictures on ebay there is two semi circle pieces that curve around to go into the intercooler.... in my kit i have those semi circle pieces also but one is welded in the middle of it so i assume they are not identical kits cause i tried use it as a reference but no help...

i'm sure i'm confusing some poeple the way i'm explaining it....

i will post pics to clear up confusion after work, i get off in an hour and 20mins...

You're using this with a front mount left-right intercooler? The welded one goes behind the towhook on the left (sitting in the car) and then up.
I even had to shorten and reweld my pipe that went up and into the intake plenum.

ah-ha! i knew i wasn't crazy seems like you understand what i'm saying... i figured there would be some cutting and rewelding involved... which totally sucks since it's suppose to be a bolt on application.

hey gunnar do you have pics of this by any chance?

ok so here's some quick pics...

the first:
one is right out of the turbos

the second:
is underneath on the passenger side (notice gap between piping and intercooler also the piping is running into the tow hook thingy)

the third:
the piping going into the intake manifold

the fourth:
underside on the driveside (this one seems to be ok...)

hope the resolution is ok... i took these picture with my phone.

you got yors from ebay right? se i have one semi circle (120 deg pipe) with a weld in the middle and another without a weld... the one without the weld is a sharper 120 deg pipe and the welded one is a wider 120 deg pipe...

hey 1jzFreak: do you have any pictures?

Have you tried talking to Aaron or send him a pm with a link to this thread? He would be the man to help you for sure. To me it seems that maybe the turbo outlet pipe is upside down that might get you closer, hard to tell . But I looked at the kit on the website and it looks like there are 5 pipes and I can only make out 4 here. Where is the 5th one?

yeah maybe i'll pm him and link him in... the 5th piece i asked him about, he said it's an intake pipe... so it's only 2 pieces before the intercooler and 2 peices after the intercooler ... does that make sense
