What else is done to your exterior? A stockish body car with vinyl is going to look like shit. On the other hand, an aggressive car with vinyl can look badass.

Vinyl is not something that you just throw on. It needs to work with everything else that is done to the car. You also need to have someone that knows what the fuck they are doing to design and apply it.

I toyed with this idea. The best idea I came up with was to make it replicate an old 1940's style fighter plane. Dont ask me what kind I have no clue about planes other than they fly. But to make the car look like it was made out out panels that have been rivited together, bad ass sharks mouth or something on the sides of the front bumper and some real sexy vintage sailor jerry style bomb girls on the doors.
Where the hell have YOU been man? Long time no see! :)

You know, along those lines, a paint scheme along the lines of an old Zero would be car-appropriate, if not necessarily country-appropriate. Around here you'd likely be treated to a knuckle sammich.

make it look like a black & white state troopers car...

...but instead of black use cf wrap. then have a "drift police" vinyl decal made for the doors. that would throw ppl off.
Not sure where you're from but that shit wont fly around here, you'd get pulled over and arrested for impersonating a LEO so fast it'll make ur head spin.

This would make a cool wrap, minus the swastikas of course.

I wonder what a single color full car wrap costs anyway?

Here they sell off the old Crown Vic "POLICE INTERCEPTOR" cars and they don't take those badges off. My buddy had one on his car and the cops just loved it lol. I stuck one on my car just as a big fuck you to them and everyone else. Been pulled over several times, nothing said. Can't do anything. If they can sell the cars to the public like that I can sure take the decal from one in the JY and throw it on my car. Even if they do say something, I'll just get out of the car and peel it off.

As for the vinyl graphics, never really been a fan. Unless you are actually hardcore race and people sponsor you and pay for shit all over your car.

Go for it! Its your your hobby, your car, your money. On that same token, its essential to use your own creativity. Why dont you create a design for your car that personifies you?

Google "car art" images. You'll find many examples.

From a professional point of view... A wrap won't hurt your car unless the paint under it is cheap. If you were to to try and pull it off, a rock chip could really ruin you paint job.

From a my point of view, clean is always better.

Hence my earlier suggestion ;)
