Can some one delete this please!!!

Class 2: MK3 cars with a CT26 turbo upgraded or not with no nitrous, you can have race gas. I'm not sure what else we should have in this class, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I need 8-10 cars in the MK1-3 class and 6-8 cars in the CT26 class. I went to the drags last year and hardly anyone raced. I think that if we had a CT26 class there would be more MK3's racing and we can still let the big boys race in the regular class. This will be much more competitive this way. If we don't get enough people to do this class, we will just have the regular MK1-3 class. The due date is March 3rd for this, so post up your opinions guys. The more people we get to race the bigger the payout and the more fun we will have.
Thanks

I'm kinda wondering why no one seems to be talking about this event, drag racing or otherwise???? I mean I thought this was one of the big ones? I keep looking for more info on where people are going to be and when, but havent' seen much other than Johhny's BBQ thread.

Is anyone planning on going to the free dyno session? Is this just more of an MKIV event of what? I really want to come out and meet some folks but just doesn't seem to generate that much interest? Are there a bunch of MKIII guys talking about it on SF?

p.s. I'm not really into to dragging my car even though I'm running 1.1 bar on it.... I'd like to keep it that way instead of it just being a large paperweight in my driveway... :)

you guys have at it though. If there are enough peeps doing it, I would like to show up to see it all go down. sorry for the pseudo-thread-jack

Hey guys it looks like we are going to have this class for sure!! Like Bryan said he'll steal your car and race it for you, and you won't do anything about it because once you see your car go down the track, you know you should've raced it your self, you'd be jealous!!!

One more question for you guys: Should we allow the MK2 guys with CT26's race aswell?? They are a lot lighter, but it would give us more cars.

I think you should, especially if theres only 2 mkiii classes allowed. It shoudl be all abotu the fun and not who win/loses. Theres really nothing better than a bunch of mkiii/mkii's hangin out in the pits and then flogging them down the track. Plus we can all hate on the mkiv's together :D

Hey guys we need to get every supra we can to race with us. It looks like this is going to be the biggest turn out yet for the MK3's drag racing. It is official, we have 2 classes one for moderate modified supras and one for super modified supras. I just need to have 12 people signed up and paid for by March 3rd to fully make this happen. Even if you get knocked out you still get to race as many times as you can get it.

Hey guys I have 6 paid people so far, that;s 2 more than last year, I need 6 more to do this. I have the 2 classes now one for modified cars or bpu and one for everyone else. We need more participation, I've made it more fun for people with ct26 cars this year so you can race other people with like mods instead of going up against cars with double the hp. If you lose in the first round so what, keep racing you'll get atleast 8 more passes. I showed up at 2:30pm last year and got 7 passes in 2.5 hrs. LMK if you guys have any questions about this. I'm just wondering why this doesn't get as much attention over here as it does on SF!
