The heat shield has been rattling so bad its driving me nuts, I tried fixing the problem but it is impossible. What should I do? I want to cut the thing off and be done with it.

yup thats what im going to end up doing but for the mean time i made a small shield to protect my transmission lines out of the old ones. Just cut out the section and put it in. I was wondering if I could run it without anything though as Ive seen many times on other cars.
They have really big worm gear clamps just for this...just wrap it around the heat shield and tighten.
ok well come to find out this was only half the problem, the other half was in my muffler. shit load of broken cat debris, needless to say im putting in a new muffler. Snagged an audi v6 muffler from the yar for 7 bucks and its basically the same, bit nicer haha. Just need to move 1 hanger and weld it in.
