Goddamn that looks like fun. I'm getting ready for a 1jz swap soon and I'm planning on autoxing after that. How much did you pay for your Tein HAs Boris? I'm looking into options for my suspension, I'm thinking about Koni's and maybe RSR race springs, but I'm not sure if it's going to be good enough for autoxing. How long was the drive to Thunderhill? lol

I got my coilovers for a killer $750.. I don't think the Koni + RSR will pull it off. Shoot mine wasn't even good enough for me. Needs to be way stiffer... Maybe Megan Track Coilovers and they are a good price too. The track was way to far >.< 3 hours

DAMMIT!!! Dude if I could find those for 750 I'd be all over them. Yea I'm thinking I might have to go coilovers for my setup but man coilovers are $$$$. hahah I was expecting 3 hours to Thunderhill, but I'm sure it was worth it. Once I get my car ready, we should head out there sometime and get some mk3s going hahah.

Yeah, its that steering angle that was killling my drifts at Motoring J. Not enuf angle to pull me out of the slide. That is when i could manage to induce a slide with 275's on the rear

BTW, the Megan Racing track coils. are fricking awesome. I can guarantee the Koni/RSR setup isn't hard enough. I looked into many alternatives before going with the Megans. 18kg in front, 14 in rear. Harder than RSR springs unless you get a custom spring made, but for $900 shipped those Megans are awesome bang for the buck. I got no body roll and it hugs the road perfect. With some skinnier tires and more steering angle i would have a perfect drift car.

At the track time I was tucked all around. I didn't scrape on anything though. Now I am up higher at about 1 finger all around.
