doors being tingy

my passenger door sounds solid when you shut it obviously since it gets opened an closed alot less.
but my driver side door sounds really bad when I shut it, sounds really tingy, like its not at all solid an nat.....
you guy's know what I mean
can anything be done to make it solid ?

sorry, solid is the best word right now I can describe it from my beverages.....

like the whole door itself is loose? or the locking mechinism isnt lining up correctly? or is the door just rattling? Ive spend all spring working in/on doors on my car, fun stuff

Yep. My car does the same thing. Passenger door makes a nice solid *thunk* like it probably did when it was new, but my driver's door sounds like a hollow bang, and it IS the glass. You need new fuzzy pads and others. What I would do, or I should say, what I'm going to do is find a car that the driver's door closes nicely and replace your window regulator and all of the stuff inside the door with the stuff out of the door that closes nicely. I found the car, it just so happens to be my parts car

yea mine ONLY does it when the windows are down. Likewindows move EVERYWHERE when im driving down the highway with them cracked open. they will wiggle in and out about an inch

If I'm going over 150 mph, my windows are going to be the last thing on my mind. I don't have to worry about that though, cause with my rearend, I don't think my car will do over 130...............lol
