Ive got a 87 mk3 supra turbo that i bought with the motor apart, its missing so much small stuff i don't know if i wanna put it back together or just part it out. :icon_mad: In the way of mods its got a full 3" custom turbo back exhaust, upgraded 02 housing, a piggyback ecm tuning system, aftermarked unsprung clutch, short throw shifter, gauges, all custom after market cold side turbo piping, is already cut for a after market intercooler, it has arp head studs and some other small crap i cannot remember, car only has 132k miles, i am torn between fixing it and selling it or doing a v8 swap in it. Car is missing the turbo, intercooler, fpr, exhaust manifold, upper intake manifold, and a whole bunch of misc crap... any suggestions guys?

List of stuff so far that i know i will need:

1. Turbo (had a sp61 on it, can get it back from shop that rebuilt it) $300
2. Intercooler (car had eBay no name one on it) $250
3. FPR (had areomotove one on it)
4. Headgasket or headset $???
5. Misc bolts and nuts $???
6. Upper intake Manifold. $???
7. Exhaust Manifold. $75 bucks

My question is it worth putting back together or just part it out and scrap the body? Car is very clean minus a few scratches, was repainted 2-3 years ago and paint is in excellent condition, interior is mint.

That'd be terrible to waste the shell. If it's straight and the paint is good you might get someone to buy it as it sits.

got any pics? it doesn't sound like you need THAT much, and it could be worth it if the car is in good shape. it would be a shame to scrap a good mkiii body.

Thats what i was thinking, the car has a clean title and all that stuff, ill get some pictures of it posted up on here and see if anyone wants it. if i dont have any luck selling it in a few weeks, ill just start parting it out to recover the cost of the car.

or i might just pull out the 7mgte and start a sbc swap for the hell of it...

Hey, I happen to be parting out a 7M and can get you most of those parts for a lot cheaper than what you listed. I won't nickel and dime ya on the little parts either. :icon_bigg

Here are the pictures of the car, i found the exhaust manifold and upper intake manifold under the spair tire cover.








So i guess right at this moment im am going to start putting it back together, i am looking for a o.e headgasket, and a timing belt.

Im not really into pulling the motor out, i only have a driveway to work in.car isnt gonna see much more that 12psi anyway.
