Actually...truth be told.

If you went turbo, every aspect of your car will suddenly become more appealing. :)

Leaving it to sit in parking lots, you'll find yourself turning back to look at it thinking, "Ahh...No other car in the lot looks like mine"..........On the other hand, who wants a Jellybean?

You have a very good point. Im also just amazed by the support of this community. Truthfully guys, you may have just saved my car. Im having a lot of second thought of selling it now and going MKIV. I prolly would've sold it now if i didnt have the support from this great community. Im goin down to Lexus this weekend to maybe consider an '07 IS 250 AWD as a daily driver, then visit Reg Reimer at RCTS to see what he cn do for a 2J swap.

Thanks sooo much guys

That is one thing that you can ALWAYS rely on when you have a problem.

Your community, your family, your brothers and sisters, we're always here to help you.

I think it's cool if you want to step up to a Mk4. But one of the things that really attracted me to my Mk3, besides the fact that I could never afford a Mk4, is that any average person out there thinks of the Mk4 when they think supra. The Mk3 isn't really that well known, and that's what attracted my to it. Owning a car that isn't that well known is a big part of the Mk3s appeal for me.

I disagree. They are VERY well known....at least around here.

But I like to prove people wrong...reason of which is why I love my MKIII....because, for lack of better words, they are just underestimated.

However, Throughout the last year, I've changed many minds that believed that "Ohhh noess, Twin turboezzzz is the only fast Suprazzzzzz". :icon_wink

I won't hate you for going newer. Some of the nicest Supra owners I know drive MkIVs.

I will hate you if you become an arrogant prick after making this change - of course if you are already an arrogant prick then I won't hate you any more than I already do. ;)

I hope you have a good sense of humor as this post was intended to be funny. It is early though and what "I" chuckled at may be interpreted differently by someone who's had their morning cup of coffee.

May the "almighty" take good care of you. Just remember to take good care of it.

My bad, I should have just said that Mk3s are not as well known as the Mk4. And that is what attracted me to them. Just my opinion and my personal experience. I wasn't trying to knock the notariety of the Mk3, just stating that most people think of the Mk4 as the more well known of the Supras.

Good luck on your decision. I actually chose an MK3 because I hated the looks of the MK4 so much. Not to mention that the MK4 is (and was) selling for about $12,000 dollars more than what they're worth IMO.

Reg is good, but he is VERY expensive! On the other hand though, i don't any body who will be able to do this swap properly in Alberta. I guess you get what you pay for. Good Luck!
