Play in the rear wheel can also be bad suspension bussings, I know because I have alot of play on my rear wheel and I know some of my bushings are bad and the wheel bearing. If you watch your caliper while wiggling the tire, and the rotor and wheel are moving but not the caliper you know its a bad bearing. you can just watch the area around the bushings and you will see it move when its the bushings. Its funny though that its your rt rear bearing thats bad, because my rt rear is bad and a friend of mines mk3 he just replaced the rt rear a few weeks ago.........I wonder if its from all the counter clockwise donuts we do? :evil2: , you ever try to do donuts the other direction?, it feels wierd.

lol, that is exactly what i narrowed it down to. I try to the other way but they never turn out as good. And besides if i kept it even i would have been changing two bearings instead of one! :icon_bigg

Wierd...., It was my Rt Rear bearing that went bad also. :aigo:

Did mine when I rebuilt the car and used a 12 Ton press to press em out/in!

Cassio: Heat/Cold works really well until you fumble it halfway in and they equalise and get stuck!

My Rt rear was bad...... but I sold the car......... :biglaugh:
Only had 1 "known" doughnut in it....... The new mkIII bearing seem good, I'll try to get the left to go bad for ya'll...... a right hand turn doughnut...... that sounds........ funky............ but it's for the forums I suppose....
