My dome light by the mirror won’t turn on I checked to see if it was getting power and it was but it won’t turn on anyone have any solutions or advice for this.

Its the rivet. There is a thread on repairing it somewhere on this site but I can't seem to find it..
From memory you just need to crimp or hammer the rivet tighter after removing the lamp base from the car.
Nvm I found that post you were talking about thanks for the help here is the picture for anyone else having a problem with this

Very carefully drill/pop those rivets out with the smallest drill bit you have and at your local hardware store find
-2 of the absolute smallest threaded screws you can find
-2 nuts that fit those threaded screws
-4 of the smallest washers to fit the threaded screws
I did this mod and never had a problem again. Also make sure your bolts are not sticking above the gray dome light housing by trimming them or they can short out to the body and blow a fuse.
