sometimes i think my supra does whatever it wants. I drove it like 4 blocks today and my speedo stopped working. However my 1 brake lights that have been out for the last week started working again and work perfect. it also would stall and start blowing black smoke out the exhaust today.:aigo:

I fix like 3 thing and another 1 breaks hahhaha. I can't seem to fix things fast enough before something else breaks.

anyone else have a supra with a mind of its own lol??

My car is a bitch, just like her owner.

A couple weeks ago, she just stopped running. Crank and crank over, but no fire. I am usually able to hear the fuel pump when the key is cranking it over, and I didn't hear it anyore so I figured it was that. I tried jumping out the fuel pump check connector by the afm, still no start. At the same time all of this is going on, my starter is crapping out on me. Sometimes I have to hear "click" about 50 times before it catches and even begins to spin the engine.

So last week I ask my bf to help me push the car over to the garage, and we walk out to it. He says I should try starting it, as if I hadn't tried starting it the day before, or the day before that. I rolled my eyes and said 'dude, it's just going to click on me a bunch of times bc the starter is toast and the fuel pump isn't coming on either'.

Wouldn't you know.

The damn starter only clicked twice and she fired right up like she never had an issue. Drove really good all the way over to the garage >:O

my fuel gauge likes to play tricks on you if you fill it up itll sit at about 3/4 full right after you fill it up and youll be like wtf and then itll wander all over the place and then sit somewhere else for a lil bit then wander some more.

my car will run like shit one day and then be fine the next or make a new noise one day ill get pissed and then itll be fine the next.

^^LOL!

My fuel guage has a mind of its own also!!!!

Occassionally when I fill her right up, and then turn her on, the petrol guage starts flashing (i have a digi dash) and tells me i have NOTHING in the tank at all... Sometimes it rights itself within a few minutes, and other times, will take a few hours...

my car is also kinda picky, anyone but me drives it and it goes crazy, i mean shit brakes all over, last time my aunt moved it across the yard, the second knock sensor just for no apparent reason broke off almost completely, it just does that, and if its happy then the pass side widow works just fine, but if i piss it off then it wont do crap and it wont idle worth nothing

My car has its issues. The gas gauge shows full then 3/4 then half for the first 2-4 gallons..then stays at half till around only 2 gallons and drops like a rock. I just keep my gas filled so I don't have to worry. The passenger window works 90% of the time, and the CSI keeps going bad so I just pluged the fuel rail and have fun starting on cold mornings.

Maybe if everyone would just maintain their cars in the first place, none of this would happen. ;)

And no, my car does exactly what I want it to, just like any other object.
