After my swap started running my motor seems to torque lot. i was wondering how you guys deal with it? stiffer motor mounts? or do you guys just live with it? my tranny seems to torque and shake lot also... maybe cuz of the motor or could it be cuz my clutch is too strong? any solutions? i was thinking about using bic's stiffer motor mounts and motor dampener if it would help. let me know what you guys think.

Check your mounts, are they worn out? Why do you think your clutch is part of the problem? Does it shake more when used, or between shifts?

wait...your 1jz has torque!? Just kidding, do you have solid or stock motor mounts. Maybe something is out out of balance. Check your crank pulley, make sure its tight.

1 piece or two piece driveshaft?

dampener wouldnt have an affect i wouldnt think on solid motor mounts... and it shakes everything to shit... ask me how i know Lol ;) shifting from 1 - 2 my car jerks but im thinking that has to do either with my bad shifting or the driveshaft bearing being worn out horribly bad

Check to make sure the bolt on rear turbo is not hitting the heatsheild for the brake lines. If it is it will seem to vibrate alot.

i don't know if it is my mounts but when i looked at them they seems to be in okay shape. i thought it could be my clutch also because i have a competition stage 4 clutch and its only really bad when i take off from a stop or release the clutch after i shift gears... even when i slowly and easily lay off the clutch it seems to torque like crazy. you can see the shifter going back and forth like crazy.

i'm sure all that is tight and i have stock square mounts with the bic add-ons thats why i was wondering if thats how they should act. i don't remember my 7m doing that.

i have a stock 2 piece driveshaft... are the stock mounts really already that stiff?

if im not mistaken, the center bearing supports the drive shaft. and it sounds like that might be whats wrong. you'll know when it really goes, it just happened in my friends 240 going 70 on the highway. shifter started banging side to side so fast i couldnt catch it to pull it out of gear, ripped both motor mounts, and sheared the tranny mount....not a fun experience.

damn, people post fast here haha. 3 while i was typing this

My bad, the stock twins, one of the bolts will hit the heat shield for the brake lines. Nevermind.
