I happened to see the link for the adaptor plate you can buy to put a GM transmission in the Supra, is it a fluke? whats the deal, what has to be done?

yes that is just the plate. you would also need a converter, speedo adapter, shifter, custom driveshaft, and make some room in the tunnel.
