well heres my story. the engine block i am building up had a metal head gasket on it before, it didn't leak at all and held up really well. I am not too sure when the MHG was put in it so now i want to replace it with an HKS 1.2 bead (purchased at Driftmotion of course 
) and among other things i am doing, i for sure want to lap the head and block. They are both flat. Cyl walls look like they have a fresh hone. So basically i pulled a Duane and i am rebuilding a perfectely running engine. Now could i buy a hand lapping tool for my application?
I am not too sure what headgasket was on it previously, but it was some sort mls gasket. Also since my engine has a MLS hg, that means the front timing cover was cut correct? if someone could post a picture of a non cut one versus a cut one it would be great. Anyways let me know guys.
