What do you guys think about this sale? Is it worth it. I emailed the guy and asked about it. He told me it now has a minor case or rod knock. And its easy to fix. Is that true? Whats the story on rod knock? Is it easy to fix if its minor? And he also lowered the price to $2000. It has a lot of aftermarket stuff in it. So im looking for you guys's imput. Let me know. Thanks

HAHAHAH I know the kid selling that. It doesnt run and isnt what im looking for. Im looking for turbo targa 5spd. I dont know its just so hard to find a decent one around here...theres one in New Hampshire that i like a lot but its wayyy to much. He's asking 6k. :3d_frown:

The question then becomes, how clean is it. I would spend 6k on a CLEAN bone stock MKIII, something like a 10/10 car, with 50k miles.

That car is DONE for 6k, damn. Needs a respray and some JDM recaros and it is all set.

i would NEVER pay $1200 unless it was coming with forged pistons, eagle rods, and a spec sheet for EVERYTHING that was done...

my friend bought a car that was in the process of being "rebuilt"... the guy must have just left the crank in, sanded the cylinder walls with sand paper... just do it your self and know its done right.
