I put my car away for the winter but I almost think driving it would have been better for it. I love daily driving it though, its the nicest car ive ever owned.

on a side note its snowing today, they just layed down a shitload of salt and sand and what do I see? a brand new black Corvette drive past me, seriously.. who does that, they havnt even plowed the snow yet.

It's a great idea to take them out for a spin if you get just the right weather conditions. There was a few days this week I would have driven mine around the neighbourhood but the damn clutch is broken. :(

Had snow and ice for all of December, and most of January, they salt the roads heavily here. The car was originally sold in Ontario and has a good undercoat on it, only rust I can find is surface on 2/4 fender lips, behind the license plate, and on the edge of the roof where it meets the targa, Definitely seen worse!

I daily drive my car everyday, rain or shine. I've had it for 5 years and has never left me on the road. Extremely reliable. :icon_bigg I don't have a problem with salt on the roads here since it hasn't snowed since 86. :biglaugh: Can't imagine driving anything else. :burnout:

I drive mine everyday reguardless of weather. I drove it today in ~10" of snow.

really?

what kind of snow tires do you have?
i wish i could see how this car performs with snow tires so i can justify getting another one as a daily.
This season there's been a handful of times where i couldn't drive it to work in the morning. An inch or two, and she's all over the place.

daily drive mine, still have stock sawblades and summer kumho ecsta spts them :) makes it a bit tricky, but i've got chains for traction.

trying to get my mom's 205s (kumho ecsta asxs, all season) but never got around to getting one car and a set of wheels to the garage.

lol, My tires aren't really snow tires. I believe they are BFG all-weather. They are on the stock mk4 TT rims. Believe it or not, it actually gets around pretty well in the snow. I believe the cars fat ass helps a bit.
