Do they REALLY shave pistons to lower compression?

yeah, they make ~300rwhp all motor wit hthe right comp, cam, tuning etc..., with the intake and exhaust on the same side. i cant wait to see what the 3.1 6m i got planned will do with the 3 40mm dcoe's and tri mil 6-1 header, 12.5:1 comp, gude cams, etc.... hehehe

I'll add my input on this one. my friend works for this engine shop in suisun, ca. he told me that he once shaved a set of pistons.. now maybe I didn't understand right or something. he also said something about the piston rings not sitting right. he works on more of the race type engines. idk just my .2
