Currently collecting parts for my 89 N/A to do a NA-T conversion with GTE electronics.
I already have some of the OEM intercooler pipes. And I was just wondering if anybody has had success with the EBay DIY universal intercooler piping kits? Reason being, I can't seem to find a good set of aftermarket hard pipes for the MK3 Supra for the right price and I really don't want to use stock pipes and intercooler. Being that I am running a GE engine, I'm not going to be over 10psi on the stock CT26.
So, should I get the EBay universal DIY intercooler piping kit?
I also plan on getting a XSPower FMIC and selling the oem intercooler. I can weld small things like brackets and stuff to mount the intercooler that but as far as making my welds air tight and pretty to make piping...... I'm not THAT good.
Your thoughts?
