I just have issues with his prices... but i understand hes making money because its a business....

i just dont see him doing any specials, or group buys... i think that would defintaley help his sells out as most think his prices are on the high side.

^ Then you're not watching close enough. He had a huge special with ridiculously slashed prices not long ago at all. His prices are set so he can actually make a profit and LIVE off of the work he does. Are YOU a small businessman? Do YOU know exactly how it is to try to strive in that world?

Meh, high prices are subjective. I think they're fine, and have never had a problem paying anything he asks for them. I pay for quality work.

No. You did not understand what i was saying. Frankly you all over reacted over nothing. I know nothing about the person I quoted and was not saying anything derogotory to him in any way. just disagreeing with the "facts" that he had posted.

I rest my case and dont care what you think but i was not making comments to be hurtful to anyone. i dont even know where dur dur dur came from...just something my friends say

I just thought i'd put in an opinion about the china 935 type ddp.

Mine fit well, flanges were straight. However was not perfect. The flange was oversized when mated to the turbo and the wastegate arm was hitting the flange stopping it from opening properly. I was struggling to get stable boost and hitting boost cut.

The exhaust hole was 2.5" in diameter, so i also ground this out to about 2.9" hole.

Where the cat met the dowpipe, the holes on the flange wasnt straight but could still be joined with the bolts angled and tightened.

Results, quicker spool and response by far compared to my normal 3" downpipe. Only gripe was the unstable boosting. My original 3" would boost to 9-10psi, whereas the ddp was all over the place. Still good value though.

I don't know if I saw the original thread, but I want to make sure to clear up some things in this one:

- I do not make any downpipes or have any part in the creation design or fabrication of the "chinaman" downpipe. So to call it a 935 downpipe would not be correct.

- I call the china downpipe a "split" downpipe. I do not call it a DDP or divorced downpipe, so that there is not confusion between this and the BIC Divorced downpipe.

- I would suggest the BIC downpipe first, to support the community of fabricators. Unless you are on a tight budget, then the china downpipe. I would love to sell the BIC downpipe, but you can buy it direct from BIC.

- I test fit each china downpipe to a CT26 before shipment to make sure that it bolts up properly. If there are issues, I sell it at a lower price (happens alot lately).

I have to say I have an ma70 withan sp racing 61 on it straight pipe. I live in montana so no emissions crap(yet) it is loud and obnoxious in boost and is so aggressive...long story short I LOVE it. I could not be happier
