Disabling ABS

How do I go about disabling the ABS. Id like to have a manual over-ride so I can switch it on and off.

As for diasbling ABS...I don't know of a way to disable just the ABS, but if you unplug the rear speed sensor, it will diasble the ABS, as well as some TEMS features, and probably the cruise control, as well as light up the MIL...<<<is this right?

you can wire in a switch from the abs harness at the transmission. and yes it will set the abs light.

Thanks is there any write up on how to do this?

The ABS Light doent bother me since all thats gonna be behind my steering wheel is a tach and speedo eventually.

Im gonna line a switch into the ABS harness.

Any downfalls to doing it that way?

If you disable ABS, you will have conventional brakes.

Thats what I want.

I just wanna be sure the ABS isnt gonna lock up when I hit the switch and leave me with no brakes.
