joe, my dip stick started popping out right before it blew up. As for a compression tester I will let you barrow mine.

Thanks for all the info jetjock, I have no doubt it will come in handy when I plan to test it in the future. I figure I'll hold off on driving it for awhile, and pick a tester up sometime this week. MK2 Timo where in St.Charles are you?
