dipstick problem with SSac Manifold/t4

So, Im fitting up my turbo on the SSac manifold. The turbo is a T4 turbine on top of a 2" riser. The problem as I see it is that the oil dipstick no longer fits into the lower tube. There is clearence issues with my oil return flange on the block AND clearing the bottom of the exhaust manifold.

I have to assume others have run into this issue but searches on dipstick fitting yielded nothing. Anyone have an easy fix for this? I tried to bend the tube a little to get clearence but its harder than it looks. Maybe a conduit bender or something would bend it?

i didn't have clearance issues at all with mine, i just shoved it back in it's hole and made a little alloy bracket and bolted it to the compressor housing

Hey, that tubing is very easily bent to what ever position you want. I have an SS manifold but have not put the dipstick in yet and can look for you tomorrow!!

it will fit... all you have to do is rotate it so that it is in between 5 and 6 cylinders and weld a small tab to secure it

Im not sure but I think my oil return fitting is still an issue. I will look again but I think if any option is going to work, putting it between 5 and 6 looks most likely. I have to get some new fittings and a hose for the return line first. Once I have that finalized I'll look at the option of between 5 and 6.

Also I dont know if Im just old or what, but I cant bend the tubing by hand. When I tried using a wrench for leverage all it did was dent it a little. Thats why I thought a tube bender would work.

I used a brake line conduit bender to get mine the way I wanted it. I also took the mounting tab thats welded on the end of it and bent it flat - then used one of the compressor housing bolts to secure it to the turbo.

Thanks Jon, thats what I fgured I would need to do to bend it. The devil is in the details and Im really struggling with a few of the last minute details.
