Digital Dash?

I think the Supra digidash is rather lame IMO.


But the grass is greener...

It's a lot greener especially considering they got so many more options, toys, engines ect then us. Digital dash lame though? It looks better then just about any digital dash I've ever seen and it was way ahead of its time IMO. Lame digital dash's came in Z31's, 89 Old's, Pontiac's and Buick's.

i have a digidash if anyone feels like tackling this project

its in a box in storage , my car has no dash .

i dont have any of the clips and whatnot though so its maybe uselesslol.

I've been to see a few soarers over the past two weeks which all came from the factory with the digital Dashboards. With the drug dealer spec tints most soarers are sporting over here, glare wasn't really an issue. VERY cool for the "ooo - ahhh" factor, but I wouldn't say it worth the arse ache of putting them in a LHD car.

You would need real time experience with them to draw your own conclusions though – You can’t watch a video online and say if you want them or not.

Lilmiss - I'll happily trade you a set of 'proper' RHD clocks for that nasty digi-dash :naughty:.

Ron R. is running a motec which is quite sexy. this is his old setup

Anyone made any aftermarket digital dashes ? i have seen that one kinda looks like F1 or something.. covers just the tach and speedo...
Is there any others ? i know we have a dash thread... cant remiber if there was any there!

Digi dash sucks IMO, im so glad i have an analog dash, digi belongs in crappy 1980's gm vehicles like corsica's,beretta's and cavalier's NOT in a supra. Why anyone would want one is beyond me?

Damn.... I came into this thread just to post that......

Aim dash is whats going in my mr-2, definitely the best

digi dashes are cool, but it depends on what you like, it is much easier for our eyes and mind to comprehend and react to an analog gauge which is why i think tach should always be analog but speed, temps, pressures are definitely cool to see in a digital read out.
