Where is it located and what's the easiest way to fill it?
On the back of the pumpkin. Get under the car and look it is that simple. It is the little rubber plug on the diff. Hard to miss.
Use the container that most companies package their rear end fluid in to fill it.

In case you haven't already drained your diff (I'm assuming you haven't or you would have spotted the fill plug already), ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS pull the fill plug first, and if you're smart, use a 6 point socket on it.

Nothing like nearly stripping the fill bolt with a 12 point socket AFTER your diff is drained... ;)

Very much so. Learned that lesson on the 2000 Miata when I was changing out all the fluids one afternoon. Given our lack of "proper un-fuckup tools" like a torch, getting a 6 point 24mm was a lifesaver. :p
