different oil pan?

me and my dad bought a new engine and tried to drop it into my 91 turbo, but the oil pan would hit the bar that goes across between the tires. is the oil pan different be tween the years or are we not doin sumthin right? Because i also noticed that the drain plug was on the different side than the one we pulled out..:1zhelp:

Any Supra 7m should fit into a MKIII no problem IIRC. If you bought a cressida 7M, then you will have to switch to a MKIII oil pan.

As well as drill the block for the Supra Dipstick and plug the Cressida one.
(Oil pump needs to be changed as well)

Guys did notice he said "91 turbo" right? He's trying to drop in a NA engine and put turbo parts back on it.

^^theres no problem with that thoug right? doesnt everything just bolt up..?
Oh and we didnt have to drill a hole for the dipstick. i think what might have happened was they just put the oil pan from the cressida??

Turbo Drain needs to be drilled and tapped in the block then..
