I have two 89 turbo models. I have done work on both. Do the three wires that are joined together from the cps hook to the black wire(G-)? Just wanted to make sure as I have put new connectors on both cars and they will not start. No spark. I have tested the ign components and wiring back to the ecu and it all checks out. Is there any other tests to run while cranking the motor over to check for ecu signals?

Huh?

Three wires joined together? What in the name are you talking about?

The three wires go to (Ne, G1, G2) individual sensors and all have a commond ground (G-).

Check CPS signal to TCCS, you would need an O-scope.

I was just making sure that the three common wires were g- and connected to the black wire coming from the harness side? Thank you for verifying this. I have been trying to track down the problem when I have spare time(not alot) for a while. Ineed to get my sons running at least so he has a way to school. Does any one know of an experienced tech in the Los Angeles area?
