I have a access to a bellhousing that I want to use for my jz swap, but I am not sure if it is a 7M bellhousing or a 1JZ bellhousing. How can I tell the difference? There is no product number on it.

for 1 it's because of the engine family M vs JZ

for the amount of bolt holes, idk

that aus pix looks to be of a truck transmission, starters are on the opposite side cause the exhaust manifold are on the left side of the engine.

The spacing is different, and the size of the bolts is different. It's just different. The two top bolt holes are 4 3/4" apart (center to center) on a 1jz, and 5 1/8" apart on a 7m. I just measured.
