mmm why is the stock BPV on there? the HKS should be replacing that. Its partly why its not "loud". It should be quite loud vented to atm like that.

Remove the stock BPV and two rubber hoses. Plug the hole on the 3000 pipe. Get yourself a recirculation fitting for the sqv and route it back to where the stock BPV connects to acordian pipe. Shorten up that vac line going to the sqv too, thats way too long.

What is going on here? I see the fatory IC rubber pipe. Then looks like adaptor rubber pipe just jammed into the factory pipe.

Also follow advice of ChrisC above.

Pretty much what everyone said, ditch the stocker, fix the pipes and vacuum line, etc.

I run the older HKS SSQV and its LOUD. A friend of mine has a new one like yours on his 1G DSM and its LOUD. So yea, fix all the stuff mentioned in the thread and you will get the sound you are looking for.

bahahahaha :biglaugh:

But seriously, do it right upbeat you will be so much more pleased with what you have when its right. Your bov probly doesnt make any noise because of massive boost leaks in the ic piping.

Why is the tee even in there? You should have used that long vac line and just put it right to the source, not needing the tee. And get real caps in order to cover the stock bpv hole. And get a fan shroud too.

oh and for that vac splitter thing. the bov came with this plug that you install the thicker hose then it exports it into the thinner one. well when i was putting it on i noticed that it was broken. it literally fell apart in my hands. thats all i have to replace it.
