did i get ripped off?

ok so i bought a top feed fuel rail and injectors from members on supra forums and they dont seem to be fitting the right way... my guess is that i have to make room for them. and the only way i can see that happening is if i remove the black long box that holds all the wires for the injectors.. some one wanna shine a little light in my darkness i dont have a ton of time to mess around with it im driving to finish my rb25 in an m3 at the same time

I had to trim most of the black box to get the fuel rail to fit. I used plastic wiring loom to protect the wires that were left exposed. Its not all that difficult, just have to mock up and trim as you go.

I removed the piece of crap black cover as well, and I re-routed the harness underneath the lower intake manifold as well. Created a lot more space....

If you remove it you could use sole
Braided wire cover. They make them cut so you could easily wrap it around it and then use some zip ties or electrical tape to hold it in place. Make it look nice.
