did the compression test per TSRM and my results are:

#1: 140
#2: 130
#3: 125
#4: 135
#5: 125
#6: 130

i guess the next thing to decide to do is do a retorque on the head bolts. what do you guys think?

Buy a compression leak tester. It should tell you if your cylinders are leaking. I believe Harbor Freight is selling them for $20.

Well look at it this way, it possibly just be a motor showing it's age and wearing down. Could be a re-ring job or a rebuild in your future (this is a good thing when I think about it, but then again, my supra isn't my DD either).

^ agreed
depending on the milage on that motor I wouldnt be woried about those numbers. its in the 15% between all the cyl. so its still good to go for awhile as long as you dont turn up the boost ect.

Pour a cap full of oil in each cly. and then do another compression test.If the numbers go up then its your rings, if they dont then you should look elsewhere. But like they^^ have already said, its probably getting close to rebuild time.
