i went into the dentist today.

Ruined my mood.

Heres a bit of backround info.

I paid for my braces for 4 years. (7,000$ out of pocket) got some reconstructive surgery afterwards (2,800) and more, after that (980) .

I was born somehow with little to no enamel on my teeth.. so it hurts to do pretty much anything..

Today i go into the dentist, and i have had an infection i didnt know of, that obliterated my lower left jaw.. and now i have to get 6 teeth pulled, and a new shiny metal jaw.

Isnt life wonderfull?

On that note.. who wants to buy my poopra?
Debt here i come!

That SUCKS.. i had braces for 4 years and it was hell.

I completely know what its like, so i feel sorry for you.. i had braces top and bottom on every tooth except my molars which was the teeth that they had those bands on.. then i wore 4 rubber bands, up and down on left and right side, then from top left to bottom right, and top right to bottom left in front... = HELL.

i dont get none of this easy invisalign BS lol. i had full on railroad tracks.

The worst part about braces was that rubber chain they stretched over all of the teeth to close the gaps. That hurt soooo bad. And then the surgery afterwards to cut the tendons near the gum line so the teeth wouldn't move back after the braces, yeah, that sucked too. I still have a metal retainer cemented (or however it's fastened) to the inside of the six front teeth on my lower jaw that I will probably have forever. It doesn't bother me at all being that I've had it now for twelve years or so.

I had that for 2 years before i got my braces... then they put them back on after my braces, then took them off, then they gave me my removable retainers, which i threw away the first day i got them.

Those are pretty sweet. I had to wear them for a year all the time, then for a year just at night. I was thankful I got those instead of the metal ones.

Sucks to hear about that =[ I for one know the pain of teeth problems. My hisoty is 24 teeth pulled including my wisdom teeth. most of my baby teeth fell out but to my suprise, i had two toehr sets behind them. more than ten years in braces and retianers my teeth are still not perfect. that just hurst in the wallet department
