Dent repair.

Parted ways with some cash and about 12 little door dings for both of the cars. I would say I made out well. I should of taken pics. Would recommend a good dent guy for anyone needing it.

When I had a real job ( flat-rate tech at a Lincoln/MB dealership for 28 years) the bay next to me was usually open. This is where the pinstripe guy and the dent guy used to work.I spent many hours watching these guys do their magic.The dent guy used to charge 50 bucks a dent, which, at the time, I thought was crazy expensive. Pull a dent on a 450SL for 50 bucks, compaired to repairing the dent and respraying the fender. What a bargain.The salesman now had more bargaining room with the buyer. Nicer car-- higher price. Yea, I can knock another two hundred off for ya.

12 dents for 150. He was there for half a day. Well worth it. That's why I thought to share the info with the community. He told me it took him about a year and half to get fast.

I've never been into pinstripes. Have them on the Titan.

Big money to be made on the extra's. This may be area specific--- pinstriper, real paint, easy 6 figures. Painter charges 75 per vehicle.A pro can do 20 cars a day easy, and the good one's do. Dealer charges 150. Scotch gard is another one. 5 bucks of product---50 bucks. And the all famous undercoating 10 dollars of product---150 bucks You don't hear of this stuff too much anymore. I think consumers got wise. Good luck with your car. The nice one's are fading fast.
