Raced twice, both times between 50-60 rolls to 100. The first time he just downshifted and went, took all of four seconds after I downshifted to reel him in. We ran out of room so I only got about a car ahead. The second time, he honked and we went. I pulled a good car by the end of second, by the end of third about five lengths. It was pretty bad. After the races we went down a long country road and did a little speed run. I hit 120 and let off, he hit 115 a LOT later and let off. We went and hung out at another friend's house. He had a Civic and tried to keep up... Got there about five minutes after us as his Honda could only hit 100 before he had to let off... Talk about embarrassing :icon_redf

Not bad. Race that LT1 from a dig, however (especially if he's not gone LT4 top end swap yet!)

Nope, completely stock. I would if I had some sticky tires, I fishtail BAD until around 60. However, the kid can't shift fast and can't launch, so his low end torque advantage would be limited.

I kept an eye on my OP and temp gauge, all my fluids are squared away and I kept the tach in the black. I'm not saying something wont break, but I'm not out trying to do it.

As for dying, 31 before the first bridge on the way out of town and again over the overpass, Tiki road for the little speed run right around 330 Friday. It was clear and dry with almost no traffic, straight with good visibility. I don't see a lot of risk there.

Nice kill Quinn. LT1's aren't really that fast. Did you do this in the car you got from Patrick?
