Ive had the same problem with my car. The motor moves to much on stock mounts I went to solid mounts and I couldnt be happier. Alot of local guys have been busting radiators cause of hard maneuvering and the motor moves to much. I say its definately a motor mount issue and the rotating assembly on a 1j is smooth enough that you will notice slight vibration at idle if that.
