where is the tps under?

At the risk of sounding fastly stupid.. I have no idea what a tps is.. lol. Its not a term I am familiar with, so I will let someone with giant mechanical brains tell you if they pop in here. :)

i know where the tps is located at, just wanted to know where it was under on the TSRM. damn i think i might of messed the afm up. but i did nothing to it but cleaned it with the maf cleaner. i left the car sitting till morning, never drove it. plus afm was sitting for about 30 mins until i plugged it in.

Its dead. There is a mirror that has to be spotless. There isnt any cleaner that can completly dry residue free thus it distorts the ks signal.

It shouldn't have taken 20 post for you to tell us this. If your car starts to act up. Then the first thing you should ask yourself is "what did I screw with last"!

You can clean it with freon ;)
Any of the chemical cleaners will haze the mirror and trash the AFM electronics...accurate frequency output is history.

If you remove the electronics, you can clean the aluminum AFM body all you want.

How well does the freon clean? the original AFM i have has a nice layer of film on it on the outside. Pull it apart and clean with freon or blow some in it?

if you just unplug it, you should be able to start the car in limp mode.

Actually.. I think the rule is.. dont clean the electronics, the body is okay provided you remove them. (think I got it right)
