Got a question about DDp. Can anybody that has one which is not rerouted tell me if you have any issues with the car running ruff. I just want to know if I should go with an open wastegate or rerouted wastegate.

I drive around town now with an OPEN bic ddp and love every second of it.

The wastegate opening, the turbo spooling real loud, the backfiring, really scares those pesky hondas away

It's never run rough, nor does it sound like I have an exhaust leak. Hell, it's not even loud unless I really get on it, because I keep the boost controller set high enough that when the wastegate finally opens, I'm well over the speed limit in the city anyway.

Thats why I started to get away from the Honda's. I love them and the motors, but every idiot has one now and thinks that there economy car is the fastest thing on four wheels.

What does QFT mean? I have a ZW ddp with the flex section, wideband bung and all. Its not recirculated and the divider is made shittily with a notch/cut in it that allows a leak. the car sounds like a hearse.

This is why you shell out the dollars for the real deal, a BIC DDP, which is the one I have.

"QFT", internet slang usually meaning "quoted for truth". This term applies on forums and posting boards where users can edit their posts, thus the QFT holds the poster to their original statement. It is also used to express agreement with a previous poster's statement and validate its veracity. Other variations include "quoted for truthiness," "quoted for truthery," and "quite fucking true". QFT can also mean "quit fucking talking."

the ZW DDP is less than half the price, take a welder and fix it...

yes, you might have some leaks, yes it's loud as fuck when the wastegate opens...

I may get a recirculated one as it does get annoying at times... but I don't have an electronic boost controller to keep the wastegate closed...yet
