ddp question

i just put my ddp on and its great the problem is i still run stock boost i thought it was supose to spool 13-14 psi? also id like to knoe do you guys use the ddp for just the track or daily driven

It WILL allow for MUCH better flow...but good lord, doubling the stock boost pressure? Lol. Although I'm not divorced, Going from stock exhaust to:

Ported Turbo Elbow, 3" DP, 3" piping to big fartcan...doing a full exhaust upgrade did up the boost from 6psi to 9psi.

I assume you're running the stock turbo/wastegate?

im at 7 pounds with the ddp only other mods are intake ssqv and a test pipe

its not going to let it spool unless u let the turbo flow ie" full 3" exhaust from turbo back, intake, hardpipes perferably. then ull see a difference

Yeah...Without some 3" piping, it's like trying to spit up a whole bunch of crap, but it gets smaller at the end so doesn't do much. Are you RUNNING it currently with the test pipe open?
Sorry, I'm extremely tired and basically half asleep so if my post is confusing, I'll try again tomorrow.

The ddp does not neccisarrily raise you boost by itself. Some people see an increase of 1-2 psi after installing it. Every car is different and really depends on the condition of the turbo, actuator and engine. Some people also run with a shimmed wastegate actuator, which will cause the boost to be higher. Just make sure your car is in good working condition and raise the boost be using a boost controller, the proper way.

i creep till cut :cry: .... then again my afm (intake press. sensor+ others) is fried.... so i dunno if that's affecting it... only 19k miles on the turbo + actuator... i've got work to do :-/...BUT as i said, for me it spools up to 13 psi @ about 130 mph in 4th

I thought you said 130 "in the 4th" (meanign the 1/4th mile!)
