I was wondering how long it takes to remove the dash in a 87 na 5 speed???

I'm putting a better dash that is a better color and condition in it. From a 89.

Depends on the wire mess someone may have made in the past. If it's stock, then that's absolutely no pain!
But for the first time, I'd say you probably remove it in two-three hours?
And figgie...well, it is 8 bolts for the dash, but it's more for the other parts that you must remove that are connected with the dash :D

If the dash are the same year doesn't take as long. make sure if there are different years to swap the dash harness. It is really that bad of a job just take your time a few things to make it easy; take the apiller covers off, remove the center console, remove the steering wheel, take loose the singal and wiper switch, take your time to make sure you have it all the way unbolted before you start jerkin on it. It is up to you if you want to remove the shifter or not i have taken a few out both ways but it is just up to you. if the car is targa taking the top off will help you get it out and in faster.

Takes me about 20 minutes now. :) One key thing that makes it super easy, remove the two 17mm? nuts on the underside of the steering column, and let it drop down and rest on the driver's seat.

That way, you won't have to pull the wheel, and you will have plenty of room to work with. Just don't forget to put the ground back on the right stud when you're done. ;)

^20 minutes for the whole process (full packaged car->no dash). Don't believe you ;) Or if you throw the bolts and screws around...maybe actually....

The ones on the dash harness are but the one in the car arn't the plugs are behind the driverside kick panel. and you have one or two behind the gauge cluster and you 2-3 behind the glove box.
