dash modification?

hey, i have my dash out to do the heater core bs, and i live in montana so heat is a necessity but i was just thinkng that i want my dash lights to light up a different color and i cant find any anftermarket bulbs that would do so. so i was wondering if you guys had any idea on ways to filter my bulbs or paint them ect. also any other dash mods that i should do while i have it apart. or just hints and advice on the heater core project.

You can get different color bulb comdoms from dealer. With new bulbs they will be brighter than the 20 year old ones. If you want to have brighter lights why not go with led bulbs that will go in the oem spots. LED.com sells them.
