Dash lights stay on

I got in my car to drive home from class and my battery, brake light and tail light light is staying on. what would cause this to happen????

Maybe your alternator crapped out and if it did your battery is gonna go next.

yes usually when those lights are on its indicitive of a low battery/power warning. Check your alternator, by taking the car to a local autozone they will test it for free

you check to see if you blew a drive belt. If you did i'd be surprised if you were able to drive it longer than 20-30min.
