As of today:

-Princess Lakes no longer exist. Dam blew apart yesterday
-Schaefer Lake no longers exists. Dam blew apart yesterday.
-Columbus has been evacuated.
-Columbus Regional hospital was evacuated yesterday. The basement aka THE MORGUE was flooded in 45 mins. Dead bodies left in the basement.
-Columbus Silgas & Propane flooded. Full propane tanks floating down river
-Hwy 70, 65, 11 and 31 are all closed. Hwy 70 going to St Louis is closed indefinately as it has been washed away
-The city of Martinsville no longer exists
-MDC is high and dry and every thing is aok there
-Cummins main engine plant is flooded
-Cummins testing facility and prototype plant is flooded
-Cummins main office world head quarters building is flooded in the basement (servers ect)

So for all you others (unless you're in hurricane country) you can kiss my ass complaining of weather.

I can imagine the idiots in Columbus trying to drive through the water... lol


Glad everyone is OK.


On a side note, my uncle lost about 90% of his hogs.... the other 10% were still floating in the fields. :icon_bigg

I thought it was confirmed that the dams didn't break, but overflowed rather

One of our lakes no longer exists either. Lake Delton I think. Some homes in its path were just washed away. They used to have a bunch of water shows on the lake, as well as the most fishing per sq ft of any lake in WI so the motels, boat rentals are really going to feel it. My mom had a vacation there planned for months up until this happened.

Bah, it's 107 here with a high of 111 tomorrow and it's barely summer. The heat saps the energy right out of you. I really like that 60-70 degree weather.

its been rainin like crazy here all week too our town has been flooded (nothin serious like that tho) almost all week.

hurricane season is gonna suck this year.

i hope everybody got out of there ok and their belongings were spared as much as possible!
