The guy with the Evo 9 MR who races up in Mt. vernon has a whole lot of shit done; meth injection, fully tuned, big turbo.. and it's a full show car to boot. I think he has something like 70K into it now.

My friend took a z06 in his audi.

There was an 05 z06 at the track last night. He ran a 8.95 at 87 mph in an 1/8. My best run was right behind him, and I ran a 8.743 @ 87.11 mph. I would have raced him on the highway, but I had my ten year old nephew in the car with me. I pulled into a service station to put some air in my back tires and he pulled in behind me. We talked for about ten minutes. I told him I would catch him later and we would run. I don't know if I'll see him anytime soon, because this was the first time I had seen him...................lol
^^i bet, you are. im sure you would destroy him. at least to you get to the triple digits. thats the thing about those z06's you have to have some good highway gearing if you run them from a roll.
yup they are fast, i raced one of those z06 c6 in my 94 turbo, with exhaust, he pulled on me hard. :3d_frown: i have the story somewhere in these threads.
What kind of 94 turbo do you have? Is it a supra? I checked your public profile and it saids you have an 89 MKIII. I haven't had the chance to race one yet, but I will someday and I'll let you know how bad it was............lol

ya it was a 94 twin turbo supra, silver, targa, black leather, real nice car. but i had to sell her. :cry: i have pics of her in my profile.

I outran one at the track saturday night, by two tenths. It was an 05 z06 though, not one of the new ones. It was an automatic also. He ran a 8.95 and I ran an 8.74. We were both doing 87mph.............lol

I could be wrong, but probably not. I don't think you can get a z06 in an auto. Maybe he just had the wheels and the fake side vents :dunno: Either way your ordinary c5 isn't anything to take lightly!
I have run with the standard c6 with 15-16psi, I would like to run the c6 z06 runing about 22psi and race gas. The z06 would still kick my ass but it would be fun to see just how bad.
that's awesome.... those cars are sick though.... and STOCK :icon_conf i know of several cars around here that could take one... but for a stock car.. at those prices, i don't think it gets any better.... i beleive it's about 505 hp in a 3,150 lb carbon shell... the braking system is simply amazing, as well as the suspension... got some WIDE rubber as well.... i say it'll be a few years, lol, before i can take one... stock :icon_confCkanderson said:
