Get an Evo up to about 60, and run them... and man, they really aren't impressive. I used to want one really bad, but now... not so much. The thing I like about them still is they are fast on a track if you know how to handle them. And, yeah they are fun to drive.
if 370awhp is correct, you're gonna need to be in the 4xx's... BUT is this hearsay that his friends are saying, are they going off of simple mods adding 100 horse over factory?... remember, there's alot of drivetrain loss on AWD vehicles. 370 at the crank is beatable, but 370 at the wheels is pretty impressive.
Go for it man, if you lose be the bigger man about it and ask him how much of his own money actually went into it and if he is capable of doing all that work on his own.
ask him to race his car not hims mom and pops, then sit back and wait for him to wrap that car arround a tree.
