hello everyone. i dont know if anyone has posted or tried this product out yet,so i thought i would share what i found. the manifold is made well for an ebay product but clearance on big turbos is an issue. i have a garret gt40 with a.70 a/r on the comp. side the runner barely clears the housing (pics coming soon) it also barely clears the oil filter housing. the wastegate sets a little low. this may not be a big deal if you a running a smaller frame turbo. if you are running something this big clearance in a mkIII might be a problem, but since my 7m is not in a supra i didnt worry on this.just thought i would pass along some info.

i have an SC6152e (61mm precision) with the cx manifold...and god damn it sucks lol. I had to have about a 2 inch spacer made otherwise my compressor housing sat DIRECTLY on the manifold. enough for it to hold it up and make the footprint not seat on the manifold correctly.

Small price to pay when you get a tubular t4 header for $150. It's a known problem, as well as the wastegate flange being sideways.

I'll deal with it. It's when I pay $1500+ for one that I'll get picky.

I've got the same one, no problem with the compressor housing due to the fact that I have a 2" t3 to t4 spacer anyway. One more thing you will need to check is that the flange is 100% flat, most of the time with these maifolds after they put the heat into the flange from welding it together it will distort to an extent sometimes its very minimal, but on several instances ive seen it off an 1/8th of an inch or more. I had my friend mill mine just for the hell of it.

Like supra 90 said, you really can't complain for $150.

Is this the new designed cxracing manifold that clears the oil filter and requires relocating ps reservoir? or is this the older style manifold?

Im curious as well for the new one. There is a new and improved design that sits the turbo further forward, clears the oil filter housing, but wg flange still needs rotating and I do believe you'll need a turbo riser still.

make no mistake i am not complaining. for a 150 bucks its great. the wastegate proplem is not bad since my 7m is not in a supra. anyway mine is the older manifold.
