. Yes you can rent a spring compressor, but They are almost as dangerous as cutting the springs. lol

No offense, but that's bullshit. I use a spring compressor kit all the time (4 u bolts, 4 coil clamps and 2 huge bolts and nuts) and as long as you're not an idiot, it's perfectly safe.

If I ran to a shop everytime I needed something done.....

I don't mean to sound like an asshole but, if you can't handle changing some coil springs, then you're driving the wrong car.

Some people could accidentally kill themselves with a butter knife, but it doesn't make the butter knife unsafe.

I guess i'll be the first one to say this,
cut 1.5 coils front, little over 1 coil in the rear. Looks good, but rides shitty as what everyone is saying ;).....
Obviously this man is going to cut them either way, so there's his answer!
& damn guys, would everyone get off the dudes balls about it. Take a damn chill pill. Never knew guys had a menstrual period...
Some times its necessary to ask dumb questions,
cause maybe they dont know its dumb.....
With a good answer, then EVERYONE learns, no need to trip about it kids. Its only the Internet.
Best way of learning....

btw: Ive obviously done it back in the days, and learnd from it. ;)
Now sporting some fresh H&Rs.

^^^ Really? I havent installed them yet, i have the choice of h&r's or eibach sportlines. I had a set of Intrax springs that gave my car a real nice look, handled well, better than eibachs i believe, and were real smooth on stock struts.
