Someone who has access to his pics... steal them and link them to this thread. It's so easy to upload photos here, I just use that all the time.

I want someone to weld wings onto my spare oilpan... so that it looks like that killer cast magnesium one that IJ recently got, without the ass rape on the price.

yup there really is no reson to add wing on the other side

the prob wiht eh stock 7m pan is the pick up is way to close to one side of the pan witch will cause starveing whne heavy conering or just plan use of the car

i recomend this to any one and i may be maken them soon as well

I come from a land down under
Jimi: Thanks!

Nash: Are you going to add a ring around the pickup at the bottom of the pan to keep oil around it? (It welds to the floor with 4 small cutouts at the diagonal points)

Otherwise you've just added more area for the oil to escape the pickup.
(this is bad)

Nash: Not so much reading but have been doing it this way for a long time and I was impressed when I saw Toyota's engineers had done my GroupA pan that way as well!

Never been a big fan of trap doors and swinging pickups as it's another layer of complexity to go wrong!

The clearance is too much. One of the common mods is to extend the oil pickup .

I don't recall by exactly how much... and my spare block is disassembled. :(

well if you have to to close to the pan that is bad thing as well

i have bean thing about 10 15 mill is were i want my pick up to be at

as in what is stock i don't know my motor is not out yet

all you got to do peoeple is take some gewing gum and stick to the pick up and then put some oil on the pan so the chewing guym don't stick

this all so cna be done wiht play dough that is what i use
