Welcome aboard.

Does that mean that the unthinkable will happen. The guages on the hood go away??

BTW, did you get an SLM also? :)

LOL Gauges are gone! I will have only the dash for now but will get some newer stuff later. I will go all MoTeC hardware eventually but with other things being changed right now, I only have so much money to spend at one time. :icon_bigg

AIM dash, no need for the MoTeC SDL/ADL3 unless you just want to say that everything is MoTeC ;)

I really think a big piece of making the custom dash look nice is keeping the stock clear plastic panel over everything. For some reason, naked gauges look odd sticking out of the dash.

Of course it works Ryan :)

The Clock buttons change the display settings as well.

TRIP resets the trip meter

SET cancels the alarms and resets the fuel used

M changes the pages on the display

H scrolls the alpha numeric bottom line which displays 20 lines with up to 3 meters per line. (in the pic it's showing Oil Pressure and Oil Temp)

This is for OBDII vehicles. But I think i read somwhere on a different fourm that people have hacked these into standalones before. Cant say specifics on which EMS but thats just what Ive read. Its like a Super Monitor for the MKIII. It would be real cool if someone with lots of time and knowledge could make it work with TCCS. Thought I would throw this in there while the subject was the trip reset button.

Duane: The SLM is doing the signals/green,high beam/blue,e-brake/red and brake fluid fail/orange as well as a few other warnings :)

With it running on the SDL it's an amazing piece of gear and very programmable, 9 different colours adjustable brightness and 8 lights.

I thought about installing some normal LEDS but this does it all.
(best $360 aud I've spent)

Hmmm so will this work with my set-up or...should I buy the SLM also? Cheap part for being MoTeC. :icon_bigg

the SLM works with either the Mx00 ecu or the SDL/ADL2/ADL3/ACL.

But with the Mx00. It is a simple 2d table.

With the SDL. I think it was 4 RPM programs. 8 user conditions. 1 Warning alarm.
With the ADL2/ADL3/ACL. It is just about limitless to include flashing etc.

Is it needed.. If you are tossing the stock indicators.. I would say yes. I would not use it with the RPM in your case.. just as an indicator.
